"Budapest is the biggest and most important city in Hungary but the country has lots of other treasures.
If you come here in February, you must visit one of the most interesting heritages of folklore, the Buso walk in Mohács. This is a 3 day festival to celebrate the end of winter - Buso-people wear frightening masks made of fur and horns of goats to banish the cold weather.
In summer you must visit Balaton which is one of biggest lakes in Middle-Europe. But personally I prefer Tisza-tó, a lake in lowlands at the river Tisza which is a good hide for fish and water birds.
And last but not least there are peaceful hills at Western Hungary where everyone can have good excursions and picnics.
