"The most significant decade for Hungary was the early 90's. In the late 80's after the political change Hungary had more opportunity. Western Europe and USA was a big influence in everything. But especially for our artists. They were free to do whatever they wanted to do again. It was also the same in the fine art and the music business (hard rock bands, punks, and later grunge)."
"Hungarian Folk Tales was very important in our childhood. And not only in books, but there was a beautiful cartoon, and every kid could watch it on tv. Easters are different here. Boys go together and visiting the neighbors and family in the early morning and they bring cold water to water the girls. They say some nice verses before pouring the cold water on you (because the girls are like flowers, they need to be watered). And then the girls give the painted eggs to the boys as a present."
